WHO WE ARE

The Electricity Transmission Competition Coalition (ETCC) is a broad-based of American companies, manufacturers, and consumer advocates working to restore fair competition in transmission planning and stop monopoly utilities from driving up costs.

ETCC calls on FERC to enforce Order 1000 — which requires open competition for new transmission projects — and end monopoly abuse, protect ratepayers, and deliver affordable, reliable power for American families and businesses.

WHO WE ARE

The Electricity Transmission Competition Coalition is a broad-based coalition of American companies, consumer advocates, and manufacturers fighting to restore fair competition in transmission and stop monopoly utilities from driving up costs.

We advocate for FERC to fully enforce Order 1000, the law that requires open competition in transmission projects to protect consumers and promote accountability.”

About Us

We advocate for fair, transparent policies that require every transmission project to be competitively bid, reducing costs for families, farmers, and businesses alike. Our coalition represents more than 93 organizations from all 50 states, including manufacturing leaders, consumer advocates, public power representatives, and non-incumbent developers, united to deliver American energy independence through competition and accountability.
